Financial Management Lesson 2

Sustainability of any organisation depends on a number of factors amongst of which we cannot ignore financial management. It is comprised of financial planning, controlling, organising and monitoring. Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) manage a portfolio of income streams such as donations, grants, admission fees, subscription fees and sales. While it has been recently noted that the lack of funds is the most significant issue that prevented the CCIs from accessing the broad market, it is also the application of proper financial management techniques that ensures that the available financial resources are utilised to the optimum level. This course will render training which focuses on capacitating and empowering the participants with basic financial management techniques. It aims to sharpen skills in effective and efficient use of financial resources to improve participants' products and services in gaining more access to markets and finance.
